The Covid-19 has opened a flurry of queries regarding interpretation of clauses of a Leave and License
Agreement (“the Agreement”).
The Agreement as the name suggests, is a permissive user from the licensor to the licensee to use the
premises, provided the licensee performs and observes the terms thereof.
One of the clauses in the Agreement is a lock-in-period clause. This article deals with the lock-in-period
clause for and its financial implications on the licensee.
